► UELSU-International Student Society
The International Student Society (ISS) is a society for UEL students, with the picture of diversity and multiculturism in at our core.
Our society’s main aim is to work for the development for all International students, we welcome non-international students as well.
We have lots of targets but we plan to work for some basic core issues faced by our members and non-member UEL students.
Our Plans concern:
- Student’s Academic, Financial, Immigration & other issues
- Improvement of Visa Advise service
- Campaign and support student rights, Health Issues & reduction or at least stop-annual-increase in tuition fee
- Increase books in libraries and teaching library-skills to all students individually
- Basic Advice
- Legal Rights
- Trips
- Parties (Celebration all countries Independence/National days, Asian night, Black History Month, Eid Party and other cultural events)
- Networking and form a bridge between international and non-international students
- Charity Fund Raising events
- And many more activities
