Welcome to UEL Law and Criminology Students' Society
The Law and Criminology Students Society (LCSS) is for undergraduate and postgraduate UEL law students. We are a study and social network that provides law and criminology students with opportunities to explore and develop new relationships and long-term friendships even after university life. We
• enable students to explore their full potential
• promote network groups of mutual interest including same subject areas
• create social networks for long-term multi-ethnic relationships between UK and international students
This society presents a chance for students to learn from one another and take part in debates.
The society’s aim is to work closely with criminology and Law lecturers as they will be invited occasionally to give talks at our various events. We extend invitations to professional bodies such as the legal practitioners, probation services, law enforcement bodies etc to also give talks at our events.
• Students will be connected to fellow study groups through FACE BOOK to participate in law debates.
• We will be connecting to the Law and criminology university students abroad, e.g. contacting the university to solicit common interests with students in the same subject.
• Promote UEL TLCSS externally and encourage investors to invest in our members
We believe that with the above strategies, The Law and Criminology Students’ Society (LCSS) will provide befitting members who will enhance their potential in the 21st century and beyond.
We will improve student’s confidence and skills, as well as improve their future reference(s) and CVs.
