The activities and opportunities officer helps societies and associations to grow and to provide social outlets or common interest groups for students. They will also develop opportunities for students to learn new skills and to practice existing skills in a fun and social environment.

The education officer is involved in many projects about continually improving the quality of courses and learning resources, creating more opportunities for work-based learning and improving University policies. The education officer also leads the course representative system.

The wellbeing and community officer ensures the University looks after students' wellbeing, mental health, money, food and on-campus accommodation. The officer plays a key role in equality, diversity and inclusion campaigns to improve the University community, and supports a wide range of liberation campaigns which affect our students.
