Who am I?
Mohammed Shanib Mannar Thodika, MBA with placement year student at University of East London. I always try to bring the change wherever it is needed acting as a catalyst. I’m a hardworking person and the organizing skills I have will surely help me to persuade my goals and achieve though it can be challenging. I’m passionate about raising students’ voices, every student should enjoy a fulfilling university experience. While being one of the students in the University, I exactly know how and where the changes should be. I believe, I will be the best person who can serve the best to the students, so I’m running for the role of Education Officer and request you to elect me.
What will I do?
Assure Internship: Promote internship programs and make sure that every student has the opportunity to experience the corporate life which helps to develop and refine skills and talents. The needs of internship will be provided to each and every students in the Uni.
Schedule Timetable: The timetable will be scheduled in a way that every aspired student will be able to get effective learning time.
Placements: Actions will be taken to promote right placements at the right time for graduating students. Bring walk-in interviews, campus recruitment and placement fairs in the Uni.
E-Library: An envisioned digital library with KIOSK machines, applications and other facilities in order to ensure the best knowledge development of all learners.
Study Tour: Many study tours will be conducted for the real time experience and exposure of the industry.
Online courses: Online courses will be introduced for widening the in depth knowledge in the subjects. New learning experience are created through online classes with additional courses and new papers.
Food and Drink: Review pricing across all three campuses to ensure the options fit students’ budgets. Develop food options to include the variety of ever-changing dietary.
I can assure a quality education for every single student at University of East London. The projects I will come up with will be for continually improving the quality of courses and learning resources creating more opportunities for work based learning and making much needed positive changes in the university policies that assures all students get the support they need.
