There’s lots to gain from trying out different student groups/societies during Welcome Week. Getting involved in a student group helps you to meet people who study the same course or share the same interests as you. Being part of a student group gives you the chance to take part in memorable social or academic events and gain skills that can help boost your employability.
But, did you know that you can also get your hands on a digital swag bag with discounts and freebies if you sign up to try out at least two different Student Groups during Welcome Week?
All you need to do is log in to the Students’ Union website, browse our student groups, and pay your membership fee for a two or more student groups. You can sign up to as many as you like!
Once you have signed up to two (or more!) Student Groups, you will be e-mailed within three working days with a link which will give you access to a digital swag bag and all of its amazing discounts!
You’ll also be entered into a raffle to win one of three TOTUM student cards, which is worth hundreds of pounds in savings!
