Hi everyone! I am Mojahar Ali, a Law graduate and I am rerunning for the position of Vice President from the school of Business Law and Psychology with the team United We Stand. United We Stand is a team of 16 amazing candidates from across the world, who united aim to:
- Bring back a vibrant, transparent and accountable Students’ Union where students are aware of what’s going on.
- Introduce free printing for all students.
- Bring back Boat Parties and Fiction nights, enriching our nightlife events.
- An improved social life on campus with better spaces and options for socialising, eating, relaxing, and praying for all religions.
- Getting things done for students through our democratic processes and committees.
If re-elected as your vice president I pledge to:
- Work very closely together with the Careers and Student Employability team to increase more employment and internship opportunities for our students.
- Work to have multi-faith prayer rooms across UEL.
- Lobby with the library team to increase the library resources i.e. up to date books, new computers, and visual materials alongside hard copy books.
- Ensure the Union is in the hands of students whose best interest I’ll campaign for
