Having had a solid background in student unionism and my wealth of experience in representing students selflessly, I am hereby standing for the position of Student Governor Trustee. As a Law student, representing UEL students in this capacity at the Governing Council will ensure my acumen in advocacy for students is utilised adequately and appropriately. My creed is tailored towards Mohammad Ali's quote. "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth". I am standing to represent you for positive agitation and ensuring students' yearnings are attended to as a priority. I will take two issues upon my shoulder that are very germane to students. Firstly, I will initiate a consultation on parking space for students. Secondly, timetable for lectures needs to be deliberated upon to make it convenient and comfortable for students because It is practically uncomfortable for students coming to the University five days a week on a schedule of a module per day.
