Hi Everyone,
I'm Zahid and I'm running to be one of the delegates to represent you at NUS National Conference 2019, I am a student of Masters of law (LLM).
Why me?
• I want to ensure that YOUR voice comes first and is heard at every decision level making at the NUS.
• I pledge to take a non-partisan stance to voting selections and will simply vote for the best candidate for UEL students.
• I will try to create camping for UNIVERSAL LIVING GRANTS that are enough to support all students during their studies.
• I will talk about the gig economy, push for a £10 MINIMUM WAGE and rights at work and build STUDENT-WORKERS SOLIDARITY on our campuses.
• I promise to work transparently so that the student body always knows what is on the agenda, equally with all students and proactively.
• The NUS need to stand up for its members even more now in this political climate and as a delegate to the national conference which I try to ensure.
• I will talk about the abolition of all fees. Education is a right - not a privilege that should force students into poverty.
