TANGINA CHOWDHURY (Vice President: Societies & Communications)

AYAAN CABDI (VICE PRESIDENT: WELFARE)

Hey y’all, my name is Ayaan and I'm your Welfare Officer. I’m here to help students enjoy their time at University by looking at the risks you face, making your wellbeing my priority and ensuring all students are aware of the advice and support available.

Student representation is the core of what I do as your elected officer. What is important to me? Putting students at the heart of the decision making process is vital to ensure that your interests are championed. I have been elected by you to represent your views, to be your voice to the University, to local government and to national policy makers. Through consultation and talking to our members, active campaigning and lobbying decision makers, I fight to improve your experience and opportunities whilst at University, after graduation and for those students still to come.

Please do not hesitate to contact me. I will make sure I am there for you all.
