Saying goodbye to our student officers

The Students’ Union says goodbye to our student officers at the end of June. We would like to thank Insia Durrani (Activities and Opportunities Officer), Naveen Pradeep (Education Officer) and Jay Samtani (Wellbeing and Community Officer) for all their work during their term of office.

Despite the last year being unusual and at times challenging, our team of fantastic officers have continued to support the Students’ Union in an online capacity. Their contributions have helped to influence decisions that the University has taken about your courses and experience on campus.

In view of what we have achieved this year through this student-staff partnership, we wish to encourage students to continue to get involved with the Students’ Union and make your voice heard. Join academic subject groups, community groups and continue to liaise with academic staff about your course to shape what you learn.

As we sadly say farewell to our current student officers, we look forward to welcoming our new officers for the next academic year and introducing them to you over the next few weeks.
