BAME Students’ Community Speed Meet

Your chance to meet lots of other UEL students and get involved in the Black, Asian, and minority ethnic students’ community in a fun and relaxed virtual setting. We’ll set you up with another student and you’ll spend a couple of minutes getting to know each other. When your time is up you will be placed with a new person, and so on – a little bit like Speed Dating, but with friends!
 
The BAME community is a student-led group that aims to provide support for Black, Asian, and minority ethnic students studying at UEL. The community exists to uplift the voices of BAME students, create a space for you to lead on institutional change, and run events that celebrate the cultures of Black students, Asian students, and other minority ethnic students respectively. 
 
This session is open to all students studying at UEL who identify as Black, Asian, or minority ethnic. You will be sent a link to join once you register. Don’t worry – we'll provide you will some conversation starters!
